In January, Shanghai Jingyi Industry Co., Ltd, an Industrial equipment supplier set up two LX series screens for the No.3 Affiliated Middle School of ECNU (East China Normal University) in Shanghai, China. The screens were erected on the campus lawn, serving as a platform to share school news and promote safety awareness among students.

The No. 3 Affiliated Middle School of ECNU used to mainly depend on radio broadcasting to inform students about on-campus important messages. However, this method had its limitations as some students occasionally missed out on receiving this information. By introducing screens, information released by the school can now be displayed for a long duration, allowing students to stay updated on campus events while they move around at school. Moreover, the screens also serve as a medium to convey safety education short films to students, reminding them to prioritize their safety.

The screens on the campus, which are 3m x 5m in size, have a calibrated brightness of 5000nits. They provide 256 levels of adjustment for illumination, ranging from 0-100%, ensuring a glare-free display for students at any time of the day. Moreover, these screens have an impressive contrast ratio of 12000:1, resulting in outstanding color reproduction, and an enhanced visual experience for everyone on campus.

Aside from the great performance in terms of display, these screens also have some well-designed features for outdoor use, on the one hand, they have a high protection rating of IP65, which makes sure their stable performance even under heavy rainy days; on the other hand, they are available for both front and rear maintenance, that make it easy for workers to check the screens’ status and handle screen glitches.
